Elizabeth Kaplan, Founder and CEO
As a culinary expert, educator, and health-conscious mother, Elizabeth Kaplan seemed destined to launch The Pure Pantry. She engages her passion for education and nutrition through the development of new products and through interactive classes for managing a gluten free lifestyle. Prior to founding the company, Elizabeth was a primary school teacher and art teacher for children of all ages. Before teaching, Elizabeth was a major fund raising executive for colleges and universities, medical centers and arts institutions. She has decades of formal training in the culinary arts and is also credited as a contributor in a popular cook book.
Georgianna Regnier, Co-founder and CFO
Launching a business with her daughter Elizabeth Kaplan has long been a dream of Georgianna Regnier. So when the opportunity presented itself, Georgianna scaled back her law practice of almost 30 years and put her skills to work for The Pure Pantry. Dedicating her time and talents to health, conservation and community service, Georgianna’s active board service includes the Ventura County Medical Resource Foundation, the African Environmental Film Foundation, the George Adamson African Wildlife Trust and Rotary International. A former teacher, she believes that educating the public about the health benefits of a gluten free diet is a primary goal of The Pure Pantry.
