Cookie Decorating Icing – Gluten-free/Dairy-free
1 1/2 cups confectioners’ sugar
4 tablespoons water or rice milk or 3 tablespoon water and 1 tablespoon lemon juice for lemon flavored icing
Food coloring — India Tree natural food colors
To make icing, sift confectioners’ sugar into a small bowl. Whisk in 3 to 4 tablespoons water or rice milk, 1 tablespoon at a time, until smooth and thick enough to coat the back of a spoon. If too thin, whisk in more sugar; if too thick, add more liquid. Add 1-2 drops food coloring and combine.
